PIT OF GOBLIN mods and how to install them

On 6 November 2026 the Thunderstore community for this game listed six mods plus three tools (r2modman, Gale, and MelonLoader). Nexus listed one mod, and it uses BepInEx, not MelonLoader. None of those packages raises the player cap.

Two install paths

Thunderstore mods expect MelonLoader. The manager path is r2modman or Gale, pick Pit of Goblin, install, and launch. The manual path is MelonLoader, then the DLL in the game’s Mods folder. POG Config is the settings panel the later Largo and GlitchApotamus mods depend on.

The Nexus mod Toggle HUD goes in BepInEx/plugins under steamapps/common/Pit of Goblin. Caps Lock toggles the HUD and F1 the chromatic effect. F2 disables the vignette; the author says it does not re-enable it and may need pressing again in a new area. I am not inventing a BepInEx version number, because the page did not print one.

More players is already a 1.0 feature

People still search for a more-players mod because Early Access was four goblins. The 1.0 announcement raised the cap to six. A mod that adds seats is not in the Thunderstore list I read. Host-side mods such as the unlimited-time package only make sense for the person hosting.

Consoles are outside this list. Thunderstore and Nexus are PC package pages. I do not have a studio sentence that says “mods are PC only,” so I stop at what those two sites actually are.

Questions

Do mods work on PS5 or Xbox?

The package sites are PC communities. I have not found a console mod listing.

Will a 2026-04 mod work on 1.0.4.1?

Goblin Overhead HUD and POV Changer were updated on 5 November 2026. The April and May packages were not re-dated that week. I am not marking them compatible.
