PIT OF GOBLIN player count, with the time attached

These are Steam client counts, not PlayStation or Xbox. At 08:25 UTC on 6 November 2026 the public Steam API showed 59 people in PIT OF GOBLIN. Other chart pages read the same calendar day landed on different current numbers.

Dated readings, kept separate

The API reading of 59 is kept separate from the earlier same-day research snapshots. SteamDB’s chart, checked 6 November 2026, showed 57 in game at 08:30 UTC, a 24-hour peak of 189, and an all-time peak of 1,915. SteamPlayerCount, also that day, showed 42 in game and an all-time peak of 1,860, while its own 24-hour peak line displayed 0.

Current players move every minute, so 59, 57, and 42 can all be honest samples. The all-time peaks, 1,915 and 1,860, are 55 apart. I print both. I do not know which sampler missed a spike.

Review totals are a different argument

The Steam store page that day showed 970 reviews, 84 percent positive. SteamDB showed 1,234 reviews, also about 84 percent. Those are not player counts. I leave both totals on the page.

The studio’s own line is “200,000+ players” during Early Access in the 1.0 note, and the press release says 200,000+ copies. Players and copies are different words, so I keep both.
